Who Can Contest It?

A Man Concerned About The People's Welfare: Rt. Hon. Dr. John Clark Dabwan
Being the grass root developer we all know and the people's true shepherd, having carefully studied that which is most needed by the society for optimum growth and development, he is poised to render affordable or even free and very accessible medical services. He is going to do this as the captain of the spring of hope 2015 team to little rayfield come that time.
s
Some present evidence of his care for the people is the sponsoring of free medical treatments around all parts of the state when he was occupying the most prestigious office in the state house of assembly. An occasion of a flag off of free medical services campaign in Mangu LGA will suffice it to buttress this fact. And now, it is obvious that if he is given the next state mandate, all inadequacies in medical care and service delivery will all be things of the past.
Fellow patriots, health they say is wealth, but what is one supposed to say or do today that all government medical facilities in the state are on strike. this is about the tenth time in this dispensation alone. Even as you are reading this, an industrial action is going on in that sector. WHY?
Is there no credible enough a man that we can place on he number seat in the state? The choice is for all of us. The choice is yours but evidences cannot be disputed. so let us all go back to our thinking reservoir as the people prepare to speak with one voice. So, who can contest it?

2015 PLATEAU STATE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION
LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE!

It’s not really how long you’ve being but how well you’d lived. Just as the saying “a journey of a thousand miles begins with just a step” the step it is we have taken since 2007 and now the train is on the move, a change of course this time; a change not a diversion, a change for the betterment of the whole Plateau state and the nation - A MOST HEATH CALL INDEED.
This is not born out of any unhealthy sentiments but from the depths of the Spring of Hope 2015 to bring back to life that which is decaying about us as a people, state and nation. Leadership comes from God as such that which is never God’s plan will not see the light of the day. Let the people choose for themselves who next.
Fellow citizens of Plateau State, one may not be able to turn back the hands of the clock but we can start again where we stopped. Though a lot of cruxes and challenges are stirring us in the face in respect to who occupies Little Rayfield in 2015; yet we should from the depths of our minds applies objectivism and rational appraisals, not one man’s personal interest no matter how lofty or convincing or should we say confusing.
It’s not the prerogative of any individual, ethnic group or geopolitical facets to decide but the noble citizens of Plateau State alone. Going down memory lane, there has never been any imposed leadership that has prospered – take for typical instance – Lucifer in the Holy book – what and how was his end? Don’t dare to end like Lucifer. Let the true voice of the people speak. Plateau State is ours to build or destroy – I bet lets join our hands together whether you are from the North, East, West or South; be you Ngas, Berom, Gomai, Mwaghavul, Anaguta, Afizere, Jarawa, Tarok, Pyem, etc, Christian or Muslim; lets be united. Peace and unity transcend every socio-cultural, religious and political boundary.
2015 IS PROMISING – LET THE PEOPLE CHOOSE WHO TAKE THE LEAD!!! THE TIME HAS COME AND IT’S NOW… THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH
PLATEAU SHALL RISE AGAIN!!!

GENERAL ELECTIONS 2015!
PRIMARIES: DELEGATES, BEWARE OF WOLVES IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING!!!

It’s evident that since the foundation laying of the democratic structures in Nigeria on May 29th 1999, a lot has changed in the political enlightenment and participation. Things which were hitherto neglected are now given serious attention.
Positions which were more like appointments are now kindly contested. This is evident where about 10 – 15 candidates contested for a single seat in the state house of assembly. To be specific, today, about 20 candidates or more under different platforms are contesting for the Governor’s seat in Plateau State; a number which has never been recorded since 1999. The implication of this no doubt is that people are now more enlightened and conscious of the democratic systems.
Whatever it is however, let’s not create a chance for any crack which could be dangerous to our growth and development. We should not allow the processes which are expected to be pure and just in all ramifications to be adulterated and bastardized by stooges and political gladiators with little or no knowledge of the ideals of democracy.
Especially in the dispensation in view, where politicians implore all means possible to acquire power; using money to buy votes and sometimes violent means. Now that the primary elections have commenced in earnest, delegates should beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing.
These wolves are politicians whose stock-in trade is to buy votes with money instead of healthy canvassing. While people have innocently retired to bed, like Othelo’s Ghost, they walk the night planting seeds of discord amongst men to obtain votes against principles of fair play and positive reason.
They are wolves in sheep’s clothing, Delegates; beware of them during the primaries. As delegates, you should realize that it’s the people’s mandate you have, consequently, where you cast your votes at the primaries should be for the people’s interest and not your own personal interest as you would someday be held accountable for the votes you cast irrationally.
 (DON’T SELL YOUR VOTES).

You should shun any unwholesome sentiments and deliver the peoples mandate – the reason why you are being held in trust. As  a delegate though, too many enticing offers would be made to you either to make or mar your objective sense of reasoning but do not fall prey to such.
Write your name in gold on the sands of time as having objectively contributed in installing credible candidates in the government for peace, unity, and good governance to prevail in 2015.
Finally, let’s call a spade a spade, whoever seeks to lure or buy your votes at the primaries at the expense of credibility and the people’s interest is nothing but one of the wolves in sheep’s clothing -  beware of them!!
In unity we shall strive for victorious and peaceful elections in 2015. Delegates; your votes are not for sale. Come 2015, beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing!
